BÜRKLE establishes a new corporate structure for the future

Greater customer focus through a clear industrial and market focus

Freudenstadt, July 2026 – Robert Bürkle GmbH is setting the course for a forward-looking and sustainable corporate structure with effect from 1 August 2026. Through this strategic realignment, the company is consistently pursuing its goal of further strengthening flexibility, competitiveness and customer focus within a dynamic global market environment.

At the heart of the transformation is the separation of the existing “Surface & Woodworking Technologies” and “Lamination Technologies” business divisions into two distinct, operationally independent units. In future, both divisions will have a clearly defined structure with their own strategic focus.

Two strong units with a clear focus

The “Surface & Woodworking” division, with sites in Freudenstadt, Mastholte and Greensboro (NC, USA), will be transferred to a newly established company. In this context, the company name “Robert Bürkle GmbH” will also be transferred to the new company.

The former “Lamination Technologies” division, with sites in Freudenstadt, Debrecen (Hungary) and Taicang (China), will remain within the existing company, which will in future operate under the name “Bürkle Lamination Technologies”.

Clear structures for greater speed and market responsiveness

The new organisational structure enables both companies to respond more quickly and effectively to customer and market requirements. Different product requirements and regional market conditions – particularly in Europe, North America and Asia – can be addressed with even greater precision in future.

“Our markets are becoming increasingly diverse, both technologically and regionally. With the new structure, we are creating the conditions to cater specifically to these differences and to serve our customers even more closely and individually,” explains Jürgen Schröer, CEO of the BÜRKLE Group.

Independent strategies for profitable growth

Both business divisions will be consistently focused on profitable growth in future. Organisational independence provides the necessary entrepreneurial freedom to drive forward investment, innovation and market development in a targeted manner for each business division.

At the same time, both units benefit from an overarching holding structure in which central functions and shared services are consolidated. This structure enables efficiency gains, strengthens synergies and ensures that the operating units can focus entirely on their core business.

A sustainable foundation for the future

With this new organisational structure, BÜRKLE is laying the foundations for stable and sustainable development in the long term. The clear focus of the business divisions, combined with a lean and efficient holding structure, significantly increases the company’s strategic agility.

“With this reorganisation, we are creating two strong, focused units, each of which can serve its respective markets optimally. At the same time, the holding structure ensures our efficiency and allows us to exploit synergies in a targeted manner. This is a crucial step towards strengthening our competitiveness in the long term,” Schröer continued.

For customers, partners and suppliers, the collaboration remains unchanged. Existing contacts and structures continue to ensure seamless support and continuity in all business relationships.
