Robert Bürkle GmbH participates in LIGNA.IN, the digital platform of LIGNA. In September, BÜRKLE will present its complete technology portfolio to the market. Participation in the new format is the first major digital event for the system supplier.
Freudenstadt, august 2021 - “Robert Bürkle GmbH is a founding member, to some extent. We have been participating since the first LIGNA, which was still held as part of the Hanover Fair. Over the years, it has been a successful platform for us to communicate with national and international market partners”, says Olaf Rohrbeck, Chairman of the Management Board of the Freudenstadt-based company. As one of the market-leading system suppliers for the wood-based materials and furniture industry, Bürkle has been able to present its innovative concepts well at the industry's most important trade fair.
Rohrbeck welcomes the fact that VDMA and Deutsche Messe have succeeded in developing a viable concept for LIGNA.IN for the fall of 2021 that allows participants to enter into a digitally supported dialogue with the market.
“Certainly, there is no substitute for personal contact at a trade fair. But we have to face reality. I believe that the trio of exhibition, conference and networking represents a good entry point for our company into complementary digital communication and a content platform”, Rohrbeck adds. By participating in the event, Bürkle expects to come into contact with numerous interested market partners. The format is also expected to be a learning experience for future real, digital or hybrid trade fair formats.
