05 May 2025 – At LIGNA 2025, Robert Bürkle GmbH will present a new solution for UV curing in the wood and furniture market. With its ‘easy-CURE UV+’ technology, Bürkle is introducing an air-cooled UV curing technology that delivers very high effective performance for final curing in an energy-efficient manner. It achieves curing performance comparable to that of conventional applications using multiple mercury vapour lamps, thereby saving up to 70 percent in energy.
The ‘UV+’ is designed for standard processes with a line speed of between 30 and 70 metres per minute and is suitable for both new installations and retrofitting existing lines. A particular advantage is its integration into existing UV dryer solutions from Bürkle, which allows retrofitting even during operation.
The market launch is planned for October 2025, with initial presentations taking place at LIGNA in Hanover. There, Bürkle will present the technology as one of the central innovations of its trade fair appearance.
