During your apprenticeship, you will learn the basics of electronic control and feedback control technology. The first year of training takes place in our training workshop, after which you will pass through various production departments. The challenge is to provide you with a comprehensive basic knowledge in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, automation engineering, drive engineering, control engineering, feedback control engineering, digital technology and quality assurance for use in everyday operations.

Requirements:

  •  Secondary school leaving certificate

  •  Good grades in mathematics, physics

  • Interest in technical applications

Duration of training:

  • 3.5 years – alternating between practical training and vocational school

During the apprenticeship, you will first learn the basics of the craft such as filing, drilling, turning, milling and basic knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics. In our production departments, both theoretical and mainly practical knowledge is imparted. Metalworking, control engineering, installation of electrical and electronic components as well as assembly of modules, commissioning and maintenance of mechatronic systems are typical areas of responsibility during the apprenticeship.

Industrial management assistants deal with business-management processes in the company. During your apprenticeship, you will get to know the areas of purchasing/materials management, production management, sales as well as accounting and human resources. At the vocational school, you will learn theoretical knowledge in the fields of business administration, accounting and social economy, among others.

IT specialists specialising in system integration plan, install and operate or manage IT systems.

You advise on the selection and use of hardware and software components, set up systems, network them and put them into operation. You prepare system documentation and conduct training for users. During ongoing operation, they regularly maintain and service the systems and adapt them to changing requirements.
